Privacy Policy
Trivium United LLC (“Trivium,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Trivium TMS platform at triviumtms.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information

1.3 Carrier Data
For carrier accounts and carrier records managed by brokers: FMCSA authority information, insurance details and expiration dates, equipment types and capacity, route preferences and service lanes, safety ratings, driver information, and compliance documents.
1.4 Customer & Shipper Data
Contact information, vehicle and freight details, shipping history and preferences, payment history, and communication records.
1.5 Usage Data
We automatically collect: login dates and times, pages and features accessed, IP addresses, browser type and version, device information, and referral URLs.
1.6 Communications
Support tickets, in-platform messages, email correspondence with our team, and feedback submitted through the Platform.
1.7 Payment Information
Billing addresses and transaction history. Credit card numbers and sensitive payment credentials are processed directly by our third-party payment provider (Stripe) and are never stored on Trivium servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the Platform — process shipments, generate quotes and orders, manage dispatch operations, and facilitate communication between brokers, carriers, and shippers.
- Carrier matching and route optimization — match carriers to loads based on equipment, lanes, availability, and performance history.
- Pricing insights and market intelligence — generate aggregated, anonymized pricing data to help users make informed pricing decisions. Individual shipment data is never identified in these insights.
- Transactional communications — send order confirmations, status updates, invoices, rate confirmations, and other operational notifications.
- Platform improvement and analytics — understand how users interact with the Platform to improve features, performance, and reliability.
- Fraud prevention and security — detect and prevent unauthorized access, fraudulent activity, and abuse of the Platform.
- Legal compliance — comply with FMCSA reporting requirements, broker bond requirements, and other applicable regulations.
3. Information Sharing
We share your information in the following circumstances:
- Between Platform users — as necessary to facilitate transactions. For example, a broker’s contact information is shared with carriers when dispatching a load, and carrier details are shared with shippers for tracking purposes.
- Third-party integrations — data is shared with integrated services including FMCSA/SAFER (carrier verification), Central Dispatch, Super Dispatch, TruckStop, and Google Maps (address autocomplete and route mapping) to provide Platform functionality.
- Email service provider — we use Resend to send transactional emails on your behalf (order confirmations, status updates, invoices).
- Payment processors — billing information is shared with Stripe to process subscription and transaction payments.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or government regulatory agency.
We never sell your personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
- Database connections are encrypted, and data is stored on secure, managed infrastructure (Supabase/PostgreSQL).
- Webhook communications are verified using HMAC signatures to prevent tampering.
- Session-based authentication with secure, HTTP-only cookies and JWT tokens.
- Role-based access control (RBAC) ensures users can only access data appropriate to their role.
- API rate limiting and CSRF protection are enforced.
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a cost factor of 12.
5. Data Retention
- Active accounts — your data is retained for as long as your account is active and your subscription is in good standing.
- Terminated accounts — upon account termination, your data will be available for export for thirty (30) days, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems.
- Regulatory records — shipment records, Bills of Lading, and related documentation are retained for a minimum of three (3) years in compliance with DOT and FMCSA record-keeping requirements.
- Aggregated analytics — anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot be used to identify any individual or company) may be retained indefinitely for Platform improvement and market intelligence purposes.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct your data — request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your data — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g., FMCSA record-keeping).
- Export your data — request a machine-readable export of your data.
- Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time. Transactional emails (order confirmations, status updates) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

7. Cookies & Tracking

- Analytics cookies — used to understand Platform usage patterns and improve features and performance.
- UTM parameter tracking — we track marketing attribution parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, etc.) to understand how users discover our Platform.
- No advertising cookies — we do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is intended for business use by individuals who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete it.
